The attached PDF on “Teaching Innovation” was brought to my attention this summer by a colleague, and it gives great data-driven impetus for integrating engineers and business students (as well as Law) during grad school, to create MUCH more entrepreneurially minded engineering scientists. At Baylor we have in parallel created similar team-based, real-world collaborations, but [...] [...] Kettering University’s terms are but eleven weeks long, allowing for forty hours of instruction. Four sections of the course over two years have proved that students can appreciate the risks, processes, and rewards of entrepreneurship in this short time frame.
